Nancy L.K. Boyce
FUNction ART studio was started in 1994, although my love of art has been lifelong. I grew up in the Finger Lakes region of Central New York. I attended Syracuse University and received my BFA in fashion illustration, including 1 year of study at Chelsea School of Art in London, England. I have lived in New York City and Los Angeles, but, there is no place like the Finger Lakes where I now reside in Groton with my Husband and son.
I describe my work as "art with a purpose". I try to create pieces that are happy and fun, but also functional and expected to be used.
I can be contacted through Thou Art Gallery (where I have my studio) or you can meet me at the Ithaca Farmers' Market on Sundays where I sell my work from May- October.
