Thou Art Gallery and Groton Recreation
Summer Programs for Kids
A.M.O.K. stands for ARTS, MOVEMENT, OUTSTANDING, KIDS!
Do you like to paint, draw, or listen to music? If you do, come create life size art projects, make
a collage, or use paper-Mache. In this program you’ll also have the chance to run, jump and play.
Experience music from different cultures and learn about the arts from experienced artists. Be
ready to get messy and have fun! This year kids will learn about a Philippine Dance Game called
“Tinikling” from visiting guest teacher, Pattie Heathe. Bring a lunch. After lunch you’ll go
outside for a recreation activity. Healthy snacks provided. No open toe shoes. Do not wear
clothes you care about. Bring a smock if you like. Space is limited.
